  1. I don’t care for either of these, but I’m going to vote for Into Eternity because nobody wants to listen to bands named after hungry Greek broads. Also, I can’t tell if the last half of the incurable tragedy is silent or if there’s just not that many highlights to fill up 3 minutes.

Disquested with myself. Love Into Eternity so much, but this is my least favorite album by them. Persefone offers so much for the low low price of a spotify membership. That Disney song at the end just put it over the top for me. Like a nice warm hug. I have to go Persefone. I don’t like it. But I must. *Cries as if putting a dog down*

Pair 8 goes to Persefone. Very flashy and technical. It’s well done, but I don’t particularly like it. It definitely has an artsy, pretentious flare. I did really enjoy the piano work in “Stillness is Timeless.” Generally, I just don’t like Into Eternity. Props for having 8 different vocal styles, but I don’t really care for any of them.

    Because fuck you, that’s why.

I’m gonna vote Persefone despite the out of place Cynic parts. I dig the piano and riffs and vocals and there is a 4 part suite to end the album and if that isn’t prog than I don’t know what is.

The song “Living Waves” creepily has the same tune as The Beatles’ “If I fell.” I wonder if it was intentional or just a coincidence.

Admittedly, I picked “Terminal Cancer” purely to abuse in the highlight reel, and I know that’s not cool, but this whole thing is for me to have fun, so deal with it. Also, Into Eternity is too power metal for me…power metaly? They’re too powerful for me.
